No anesthesia is required for any of our peels.

Glycolic peels take approximately 20 minutes for the treatment

After care treatment and repeat of the peel may be needed depending upon the extensiveness of the desired effect and current skin damage.

Lighter peels: you usually have short-term redness. With deeper peels: inflammation, dryness and redness lasts a few days longer.

 After any type of skin peel or exfoliation, it is imperative to wear sun screen at least until the skin is completely healed.

Fruit Acid Peels

Alpha Hydroxy Acid Complexes that are obtained from citrus fruits, apple fruit and green tea are the basis for Fruit Acid Peels. The anti-irritant action of green tea extract when combined with mixed fruit concentrations of Alpha Hydroxy Acids has a significant retexturization action on the skin, accompanied by measurable increase in cell renewal. Fruit acid peels are ideal for skin that tends toward hyperpigmentation or is sensitive.

Glycolic Peels

Glycolic peels have the smallest molecular structure of the Alpha Hydroxy Acid Peel group. These are  lighter peels than chemical peels and are used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin of the face by removing its damaged outer layers. They help reduce fine wrinkles and even out skin tones, leaving younger looking skin. These are great peels for hyper-pigmentation and sun-induced elastosis (rough, wrinkling of the skin that often has a yellowish cast, or for elderly clients who have extremely flaccid,  fragile skin that cannot tolerate the pressure from microdermabrasion. This peel gives you a greater rate of cell renewal which in turns, aids in creating firmer, thicker skin. Glycolic acid is an excellent aid in balancing dry skin because it has superb water binding properties. A peel can be done on the entire face or just specific areas.
